On July11, 1997, while sitting on the side of the bed, the life of 83 year old Mrs. Rosa Lee Barnes was brutally ended, in a drive-by shooting. Lovingly known as “Big Mama”, Mrs. Barnes was a pillar of her community, and had a dedication to helping anyone that came to her with a need. In the same spirit of our grandmother, Mrs. Barnes, I propose to continue the legacy she imparted, with the establishment of “Big Mama’s House of Love Inc.”
